Trophy

The PSL 11 trophy was unveiled at National Stadium in Karachi on 11 March 2026. The ceremony was attended by franchise owners, the PSL CEO and HBL officials. The trophy is the one that the eight teams will compete for during the 44-match season. Only one team will lift it after the final on 3 May 2026. The event marked the start of a new era for the league with eight franchises and an auction-based system for building squads.

Karachi was a fitting venue for the unveiling. National Stadium has hosted PSL finals and playoff games in the past. It is also the home ground of Karachi Kings. The trophy will stay in the spotlight from now until the final. Fans can follow the fixtures and points table as the race to win it unfolds.

The 2026 season starts with the opening ceremony at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on 26 March. The first match is Lahore Qalandars vs Hyderabad Kingsmen at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. The season has 44 matches across six venues in Pakistan. The squads were built at the PSL 11 auction on 11 February 2026. The trophy unveiling in Karachi was the signal that the countdown to the first ball has begun.

What the trophy represents

The goal for every team

The trophy is the symbol of the campaign. Every team builds its season around the goal of lifting it. Lahore Qalandars will aim for a fourth title and Islamabad United will aim for a fourth of their own. The two new teams, Hyderabad Kingsmen and Rawalpindi Pindiz, will have the same long-term goal. The unveiling in Karachi reminded everyone that the season is about more than points; it is about who holds the trophy at the end.

One winner

Only one team can win it. The other seven will fall short at some point in the group stage or the playoffs. That is what makes the trophy so special. It is the reward for six weeks of hard cricket across 44 matches. The winner will lift it after the final on 3 May 2026.

Who was at the ceremony

Franchises and PCB

The event was attended by representatives of all eight franchises. The PSL CEO and HBL officials were also present. Their presence showed the link between the board, the title sponsor and the teams. The next big moment is the opening ceremony on 26 March 2026 in Rawalpindi. After that, the first match will be played and the race for the trophy will be under way.

Building excitement

Franchise owners and their staff were there to see the trophy that their teams will chase. The PCB and HBL use the event to build excitement for the season. Media and fans could see the trophy for the first time. The ceremony was streamed or covered on official channels so fans who could not be there could still follow.

Why Karachi

The venue

National Stadium in Karachi is one of Pakistan's most famous cricket grounds. It has hosted PSL finals and many big international matches. It is the home of Karachi Kings, one of the eight franchises. Choosing Karachi for the trophy unveiling gave the city a central role before the season started. The venue will also host a full set of matches during PSL 11.

A moment for the city

The trophy will not stay in Karachi. It will be present at the opening ceremony in Rawalpindi and at other key events. But the moment it was first shown to the world was in Karachi. That is a memory the city and the league will keep.
